Remarkably similar to the presentation guitar made for National's George Beauchamp, LEM belonged, I believe, to Aleth Hansen. He played with the Beverly Hill Billies Band where his stage name was Lem H. Giles H.D. (for Horse Doctor). He was also in the Bar X Cowboys.
