Style 5 Tricones.

Although for years it was believed that the one example of this engraving pattern known to exist was a prototype for the style 4, there are now enough instruments with this pattern (mostly Hawaiians) that have shown up for us to decide they deserve their own category, so please excuse us if we call them 'Style 5s'

Note however that there are no catalogue or brochure references to this pattern or style.

Style 5 Spanish neck Tricone. Serial 141.

This guitar is featured in Bob Brozman's book.

It has a wood well and is a beautiful sounding instrument.

Here is another, Spanish neck, Serial 163.

With, I'm told, a picture of Antone Chris, it's first owner.

If anyone knows where this guitar is, may I please have a better picture of the name on the side.
